NFL Free Agency begins at 4pm ET on Wednesday, but news surfaced a day earlier Tuesday afternoon of a agreed-upon deal with former Redskins CB Baushad Breeland.

Breeland, the 26-year old former Clemson DB from Allendale SC, reportedly signed a three year, 24 million dollar deal with the team.

Breeland was a fourth-round pick by the Redskins in 2014 and appeared in 60 games for Washington over those four years, 57 of those starts.

The move is the first deal the Panthers have made in free agency.

It comes a week after GM Marty Hurney made a deal sending third-year corner Daryl Worley to the Philadelphia Eagles for WR Torrey Smith.
